On 25th March, Vietranstimex completed hand-over of 6 oversize overweight packages which are called as “heart” of Nam Kong Hydropower Project 3 from Tien Sa Port, Da Nang to the site of the Project built in Attapeu province, Laos P.D.R. This is an agreement between Vietranstimex and Bollore, India, which was signed in August 2019. 
With the completion of handing over these packages, VTT has completed 80% of the project schedule. After that, all VTT transportation team members returned and carried out quarantine at Vietnam border gate in accordance with regulations. 

6 “heart” packages of the Hydropower Project handed over by VTT includes:
• 3 Rotors weighing 62 tons/package (5m x 4m x 4m) 
• 3 Stators weighing 37 tons/package (4.5m x 4.1m x 2.9m), 

All these 6 packages were transported on the distance of 410 km from Da Nang Port to the Nam Kong 3 Project site in Attapue, Laos P.D.R crossing Bo Y International Border Gate (Kon Tum province) by using specialized transport means for oversize overweight for cargo, including large-capacity Man tractors and Cometto hydraulic. Besides that, due to passing Bailey bridge on the route near the project site, extending trailers to 18 axles to be made to overcome this obstacle. This was calculated during the survey previously by VTT, the project schedule is still ensured.

VTT team has still been working on the project and it is expected to complete the project by August 2021.
